Weekly Topics for 2/6

Reading:  Begin Mysterious Giant of Barletta, vocabulary, multiple meaning words, figurative language, making a plan of action, comparative (-er/more) and superlative(-est/most) adjectives
Spelling: orange- review, yellow- r controlled vowels, blue- long vowels
English/Writing:  verbs, editing sentences
Math:  arrays in multiplication, multiplying by 2, 5, 10, word problems with too much information
Science:   environment changes and how they affect food chains
Social Studies:  NA

Other: anti-bullying rules, how to handle a bully, importance of rules, responsibility, and respecting others, classroom/school procedures and expectations, working with partners and groups
