All students will be taking the first PSSA test on Monday. It will be a Math test with several no calculator problems and about 16 more problems that you will use a calculator to solve them. Please get plenty of rest this weekend and do not forget to turn ahead your clocks and lose an hour.
Remind all students to bring their calculators to school Monday if they have one. Students will show you their PSSA folders if they would like to get 5 extra credit points for Marking Period 3. Marking Period 3 ends on March 30th. Have a great weekend!
We have 48 school days until we take the PSSA test. We will be reviewing the 5 anchors and making sure we are ready for the test.
Pre-Algebra students have a Topic 3 Test on Friday 1-6-12. Please study for this test on the different types of graphs. Box and whiskers, stem and leaf, scatterplots, bar graphs, line graphs and the measures of central tendencies.
Algebra 1 students will have a big Chapter 4 test on Friday 1-6-12. Please study the concept map and review by rereading the chapter. Please study. Marking period 2 ends in 12 days.
Grade 8 Algebra Class is having the Chapter 3 test on sections 1 to 6 tomorrow in class.
Grade 7 Algebra 1 Class is reviewing for the test.
Grade 7 Pre-Algebra is doing mountain math tomorrow.
Grade 8 students in Algebra 1 will take the Chapter 2 test Tuesday.
Grade 7 students in Algebra 1 will take the Chapter 2 test Wednesday.
Pre-Algebra students will have a Unit One test on Wednesday.
All students need to study their worksheets and complete all worksheets before the test.
Students need to bring back a signed envelope on Monday or Tuesday; this says parents read all the papers inside of the envelope. 7th grade Field Trip on Tuesday bring a packed lunch or money.
Math students should all review the properties of Real Numbers and the rules for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers.
