Our preseason meeting will be held on Monday, May 21st at 7pm in the HS Cafeteria. This meeting will be for all PLAYERS interested in playing volleyball next fall and their PARENTS, including incoming freshman. Please spread the word as we will be discussing important season dates, summer plans, and upcoming fundraising.
Drive 4 Ur School is Saturday, May 5thfrom 10 am to 1 pm at the high school. Every participant who test drives a car, will have $20 donated to the booster club of his/her choice. No pressure sales or follow-up from Hondru Ford and it’s a super easy way for us to raise funds!!! If each player would have (1) driver participate, we could raise $400!!!!!
Girls going to PSU Team Camp: Car Wash Fundraiser is scheduled for May 20th from 11am to 2pm at Hondru Ford in Manheim. You are expected to be in attendance to keep the cost of camp down. Please dress appropriately and bring cleaning/drying supplies (buckets, towels, sponges, soap). Spread the word to your neighbors and friends to help make this a successful few hours!
This year we are heading back to Penn State for Team Camp, July 9-12th. Girls, please comment on this link or email coach if you plan on attending! The cost will be somewhere around $205 per player if we have 16 going. Evie will be helping to organize a car wash this spring/summer to raise some more funds. A $50 deposit check to MCGVBC is due by April 1st to reserve your spot.
We are also looking into signing a team up for a local women’s summer league (mid May through August). If you are interested, please comment on this link or email coach. I realize everyone will not be able to make it each week, so we will try to have a large team to cover each game. This will be the option rather than summer open gyms.
2011 Varsity Players- plan on assisting JH camp Aug. 7-9th, 5:30-8:30pm. I will need girls to run stations so that we are able to break up age groups and have smaller sessions. Spread the word so we can get girls interested in playing volleyball and start a JH team! More information will be coming at a later date.
Plan to attend the informational meeting on Monday February, 27th at 7pm in room 1910 of the high school. Important summer dates will be discussed as well as plans in preparation for the upcoming season.
Its that time to get started! Plan to stay after school on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s until 4:15pm. Based on the people present, we’ll lift, do some basic plyometrics, and work on our setting hands!

During the Farm Show we will be practicing in the Middle School on Wednesday and Friday, the end time will be adjusted based on when we get started due to traveling to the middle school. If there is a transportation issue, please contact Coach. Thursday the team will gather to eat at the farm show before traveling to CV.
Saturday, October 22nd is a newly scheduled varisty tournament against Hempfield. This will head us into League playoffs. A few JV players will be invited to practice and be on the bench for the post season, however, all players are invited to travel to games and cheer on their teammates.
