Wow! I feel so special!! A great big thank you to all of my students and their parents for going above and beyond to make Teacher Appreciation Week so great! It is a treat for me to come to school each day to a classroom full of eager and excited students…all of the “extras” were not necessary, but very appreciated!! You’re the best!!
Mrs. Keim:)
We have had the priveledge of having Mr. Hoffer, of Fenner Drives, as our Junior Achievement instructor for the past five weeks! We have learned so much about what makes a city….a city! We have learned about city zones and have even built our own city!! In addition, we have created restaurants and planned for staffing, food variety, pricing, and location. Most recently, we learned about all the information that a newspaper can provide for us! We then had to opportunity to create our own newspaper with sections for business, entertainment, sports, and school news! You should see the article ideas we came up with!! Mrs. Keim has placed our newspaper pages in the hallway outside of our classroom! Feel free to drop by to take a look!!
A big thank you to Mr. Hoffer for donating his time on a weekly basis to teach us about such important topics that we need to know about in life!
*Animal research project is completed!! 3-K students have been working hard at gathering factual information about individually selected animals. Our information can be seen in our acrostic poety showcase outside of the library! We are especially proud of our computer skills that we learned in order to present our information! In addition to our poetry, we each have created an ink sketch of our animal to display! We are very proud of our hard work so please stop by and take a moment to check out our display case outside of the library on the second floor of Doe Run!
