After 34 years as an advocate for students, parents, and the relationship between home and school, I have decided to retire. It has been a pleasure to serve this community and work with so many talented and compassionate professionals. Manheim Central has always been blessed with the support of a tight knit community and this has resulted in great successes such as the Manheim Central Foundation for Educational Excellence, the MCSD Social Services Fund, our Baron Pride, achieving AYP for the past six years straight and the success of our alumni as showcased by the Alumni Hall of Fame. When I came to MCSD in 1977, I realized that this was a great place to work and I wanted to be a part of the Manheim Magic. I salute the staff members (former and present) for giving so much for so little. Education is indeed a calling and we have been fortunate to attract some of the best and brightest at all levels of service. So, I bid Manheim a fond farewell and extend my appreciation to one and all for allowing me to be a part this district for so many years.
