We will be publishing the magazine project all next week. Work on revising/editing your magazine articles. Bring your magazine folder to class each day. Book Report Presentations will continue May 29th. Marking Period 4 reading log worth 30 points is due June 1st.

This week we began studying our final list of Vocab Boosters words. Next week students will be giving oral book report presentations. This week we looked at flaws speakers have and discussed tips as to how to avoid these faults when we speak. Students also had the week to prepare their note cards for the presentation. Students have 15 extra credit options for the report in case they need an extra boost in their grade at the end of the year. We’ve also been typing the dialogue article for the magazine project. In 2 weeks students will be publishing their magazines. This week students would have completed the reading of Chasing Vermeer if they had not finished the reading earlier. We will reread chapter 24 early next week to review the connections among all the events before our Skype assembly with the author on Wednesday.
