Manheim Farm Show

Weather permitting, the third graders of Stiegel Elementary will walk to the Manheim Farm Show on Wednesday, October 5, to see the many agricultural products that are on display. They will bring a packed lunch that day and eat it before walking to the farm show. The class will leave Stiegel around 11:00 and return by 1:45 PM
Back to School Night Rescheduled

On Thursday, September30 from 6:30-8:00, Stiegel Elementary will be having our Back to School Night. Third grade parents are encouraged to come out and meet the teachers. They will also hear about the third grade curriculum and other noteworthy information. Mrs. Shepos, Mrs.Kopp,, and I will meet together in a combined session in room 210. We are looking forward to meeting our super Stiegel parents.

This week we were off and running in third grade! The students had a chance to review and learn classroom, school, and playground rules. In additon students participated in many fun activities to get to know each other and learn to work together. The students really enjoyed getting started with the First In Math online math practice which is new this year. Please make sure to ask you son or daughter about this program. Their username and password is taped in the front of their planner. They have been encouraged to use this program in school and at home. Even though all of us were very tired by the end of the week we had a great start to an exciting year!
