7th grade:
We will take our Unit 2 Quiz on Classroom Objects & Commands on Wednesday, 5/16, and we will then start and continue to work on Unit 3 Numbers. The students will learn how to count from 0-100.
8th grade:
We will begin our Family unit and continue to learn and practice the names of our family members as well as how to describe their relationships to ourselves in Spanish. On Wednesday, 5/23 we will be walking over to the HS to take part in their International Culture Day.
7th grade:
We will be finishing up our unit on Basic Conversation Skills with our listening, reading and writing test on Thursday, 4/26. We will then begin Unit 2 on classroom objects & commands.
8th grade:
We finished up our first unit together where we reviewed last year’s content. We began our second unit of the year on La Casa/The House. We will learn how to identify the rooms within a house, the parts of a room, and different types of homes or lodging. On 4/27 the students will start working on their project for this unit on Interior Design. The students will design their own home using our computer software, but they will have to label everything in Spanish with the vocabulary words that we learned from our unit.

7th grade:
In the first few weeks of class we will be choosing Spanish names, learning the alphabet in Spanish, and starting our first unit on Conversation which includes greetings, good-byes, and ways of asking basic questions.
8th grade:
We will be reviewing all the units we covered last year in 7th grade: Conversation, Classroom Objects, Numbers & Colors, Geography, Calendar, and Food.
