Cross-Fit / Self-Defense 11/1/11 – 12/1/11
All 7th and 8th grade male students are currently in receiving a Cross-fit / Self-Defense unit of instruction. Cross-fit is a Global organization that supplies daily workouts using cardiovascular and strength building techniques. We modified workouts to meet the needs of our students while instructing students on stability ball exercises to strength their core and upper body. During self-defense instruction, students learn how to become proactive, establish an awareness of their surroundings, and develop confidence in their own abilities to defend themselves.
