2. Include a title (centered – no underlining or quotation marks)
3. Double-space typing
4. Font size 12 – use a readable font (Calibri, Times New Roman, Arial …)

Attached you will find copies of the half-sheets for the planning process, the handout with examples of leads/hook, or the “blues,” for your introduction. Remember to add transitions – see the attached sheet – to the key idea of each pink sheet.

Transferring your information from the half-sheets to an informal outline should be easy. The informal outline handout is also attached; it mimics the two-column notes we utilize in class.

Make sure you are reading your ELEVEN-page minimum each night.  This includes Saturday and Sunday.  Make this a habit; remember, it takes approximately twenty-one days of doing something before it becomes a habit.
